About WIND HVAC INC
A Garden Grove mechanical contractor built around the systems most companies subcontract out.
Our Story
WIND HVAC INC was founded to build a mechanical contractor that could handle the complicated work in-house — VRF and VRV systems, commercial refrigeration, critical room cooling, and controls — instead of subcontracting it out and marking it up.
That's still what separates us. Most contractors are strong in one lane. We install and service rooftop units and residential split systems, but we also engineer VRF piping layouts, commission branch selectors, repair walk-in refrigeration, service hydronic boilers, and integrate building management systems across mixed-brand equipment. For a property manager or business owner, that means one contractor instead of three, and no problem falling into the gap between them.
We serve roughly a two-hour radius from Garden Grove — Newport Beach, Dana Point, Laguna Beach, San Juan Capistrano, Huntington Beach, and the rest of Orange County, plus Long Beach, Los Angeles, the Inland Empire, and San Diego for project work. We also sell HVAC and refrigeration equipment directly, so customers aren't paying a markup stacked on top of a distributor's markup.
We're licensed, insured, and bilingual in English and Spanish. And we're currently developing our own building management platform — patent pending — designed around the way service contractors and facility managers actually work.
What We Stand For
Diagnose, Don't Guess
We read the system before we quote it. Swapping parts until something works isn't a diagnosis — it's your money funding a guess.
Straight Answers
You get the findings, the options, and the price before work starts. If your system has good years left, we'll tell you that too.
Do It To Spec
Nitrogen purge, deep vacuum, verified charge, documented pressure tests. The steps that don't show up in a photo are the ones that determine how long it lasts.
Local & Accountable
We're based in Garden Grove, not dispatched from three counties away. When something needs a second visit, we're the ones who come back.
Our Mission
Keep Southern California's buildings running — comfortable, efficient, and monitored — by doing the technical work properly the first time instead of returning to fix a shortcut.
Our Promise
You'll know what's wrong, what it costs, and what your options are before we touch anything. If our work doesn't hold, we come back and make it right — no argument about it.
